This volume is a continuation of LRS Volume 12 and contains Folios 150-277 of the minutes of the Chapter from 18th September 1536 to 18th September 1547 which includes the period leading to the death of Henry VIII on 28th January 1547. This period also covers the confiscation of the Cathedral treasures by the commissioners of Henry VIII although there is scant coverage in the Chapter Acts. More is recorded of the further spoliation in 1540 when Cromwell ordered the Cathedral Chapter to transfer the gold, silver and jewels from the shrine of St. Hugh to the Tower of London.
