The Visitation of Lincolnshire was made in 1666 by Sir Edward Bysshe, Clarenceux King of Arms. This volume is based on a copy of the edition held in Herald’s College Library. It records for each family, four generations in the direct line. For many there are also heraldic details of the families’ coats of arms and crests.
